Rink Bowls, as the name suggests, is played in lanes, like the game of Lawn Bowls but in especially built indoor bowls complexes.
The bowls used are the same for both the indoor and out-door rinks.
However, the artificial indoor surfaces are ‘quicker’ than the natural grass surfaces, which causes the bowls to bend more.
So indoor rink bowlers tend to use bowls with less bias that out-door grass rink bowlers, however there are bowls available which are suitable for both.
